The Nifty Pharma Index Closes in Negative Territory
The Nifty Pharma index closed with a negative performance on Thursday. Among the top gainers were Granules India Ltd., Sanofi India Ltd., and Pfizer Ltd. On the other hand, Cipla Ltd., Aurobindo Pharma Ltd., Ipca Laboratories Ltd., Lupin Ltd., and Zydus Lifesciences Ltd. finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Pharma index ended the day down by 1.57 percent at 15817.45. The benchmark NSE Nifty50 index closed down by 9.85 points at 19802.0, while the BSE Sensex stood down by 5.43 points at 66017.81.
