Nifty Pharma Index Closes on a Positive Note
On Wednesday, the Nifty Pharma index ended the day in the green, with top gainers including Alkem Laboratories Ltd., Ipca Laboratories Ltd., Zydus Lifesciences Ltd., Aurobindo Pharma Ltd., and Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd. The index closed 1.48 per cent up at 15497.25.
The benchmark NSE Nifty50 index closed up 36.8 points at 19443.5, and the BSE Sensex stood up 33.21 points at 64975.61. Of the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 33 ended in the green, while 17 closed in the red.

Shares of YES Bank, JP Power, Vodafone Idea, Reliance Power, and Easy Trip Planners were among the most traded shares on the NSE. Additionally, shares of HB Stockholding, North Eastern, Alpa Labs, Dhunseri Petrochem, and Concord Biotech Ltd. hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade.
Conversely, Fourth Dimension Sol, Winsome Yarns, Compuage Infocom, Sheetal Cool, and Atam Valves hit their fresh 52-week lows.
