Whale Rapidly Accumulates $154.4 Million Worth of Ethereum in Less Than 2 Days
An unidentified crypto whale has been observed accumulating a significant amount of Ethereum (ETH) in a short period. Blockchain tracker Lookonchain first reported that an unknown entity withdrew 54,721 ETH valued at $154.4 million from Binance and decentralized exchanges (DEXes).
Speculation Surrounding the Whale’s Identity
Lookonchain suggests that the address behind the transactions may belong to Justin Sun, Tron founder and advisor to HTX crypto exchange. The address made a large withdrawal from HTX recently, leading to speculation that only Sun could have carried out such a transaction.
Transactions Raise Suspicion
Lookonchain highlights a series of transactions involving funds moving between HTX and Binance from the same wallet. The frequency and timing of these transactions are seen as too coincidental.
Possibility, Not Confirmation
While Lookonchain’s analysis points to Sun as the potential owner of the wallet, it is important to note that this is just speculation based on on-chain data.
