OpenAI, an AI research firm, has introduced Sora, a new text-to-video model capable of generating high-definition videos based on text prompts. Sora can create videos up to 60 seconds long, featuring detailed scenes, complex camera motion, and multiple characters with vibrant emotions. Additionally, it can generate videos from still images.

News of the launch has caused two AI-focused altcoins to surge. Livepeer (LPT), a decentralized video streaming network, saw its price rise from $7.96 to $14.64 in just one day, marking an 83.9% increase. SingularityNET (AGIX), a blockchain-based marketplace for AI services, experienced a gain of 31.4%, going from $0.318 to $0.418 during the same time frame.
Incorporating Text-to-Video Technology
Livepeer plans to integrate text-to-video technology into its network within the next few months as part of its AI Video initiative. This move aims to provide affordable and open access points for developers, creators, and users interested in utilizing generative video capabilities.
