The goal of this collaboration is to nurture projects, facilitate growth, and shape the technology landscape of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
To achieve their objectives, the Hashgraph Association and Dar Blockchain will organize meetups, hackathons, and university groups. They also plan to launch a monthly podcast to share insights and knowledge.
Co-founders of Dar Blockchain, Mohamed Mnif and Jaafar Saied, expressed their excitement about the partnership. They believe that by providing training sessions on the Hedera Network and establishing chapters in local universities, they can lay the foundation for the widespread adoption of distributed ledger technology (DLT) in MENA.

Incubation Program and Growth Initiatives
In addition to their planned activities, the Hashgraph Association and Dar Blockchain will host four hackathons starting in October. These hackathons will serve as a sourcing phase for an upcoming incubation program specifically designed for the North African community.
Besides hackathons, tailor-made training sessions will be offered to support the growth of communities and enterprises. By fostering innovation and empowering the next generation of innovators in MENA, both organizations aim to create a thriving technology ecosystem in the region.
