Aleph Zero Launches Comprehensive Hackathon Event

The Aleph Zero Foundation has announced the launch of CTRL+Hack+ZK, a virtual hackathon event in collaboration with Telekom MMS, Stc Bahrain, Heartcore Capital, Arca Finance, Cardinal Cryptography, and other partners. The event will run from January 10 to January 31, 2024. CTRL+Hack+ZK aims to foster innovation and collaboration in the blockchain space by inviting developers to participate in a three-week virtual hacking experience. Participants will have access to workshops, educational programming, mentorship from Aleph Zero’s core development team and ecosystem partners. The hackathon offers developers the opportunity to turn their ideas into reality and be integrated into the growing Aleph Zero ecosystem.

Top-line Partnerships and Opportunities

Telekom MMS, Stc Bahrain, idOS, Cardinal Cryptography, Generative Ventures, Heartcore Capital, WW Ventures, Blockchain Founders Capital, and Buidlers Tribe are among the hackathon partners. Franklin Templeton Investments, Block54, RR2 Capital, and others will serve as judges for the event. Existing Aleph Zero ecosystem partners will also share their experiences and insights with new participants.

Fostering Innovation Across Diverse Tracks

The hackathon offers different tracks for participants to showcase their skills and creativity. These tracks include Telco, DeFi (Decentralized Finance), DiD (Decentralized Identity), Gaming, and Tooling and Infrastructure. Each track has its own set of prizes ranging from $2,000 to $20,000 from a total pool of $75,000. There is also an opportunity for up to $500,000 in follow-on funding for selected projects.

Schedule and Participation Details

The hackathon will begin with the Aleph Zero ecosystem Town Hall on January 10, followed by workshops, hacking sessions, and a demo day. Winners will be announced on February 5, with prizes and potential inclusion in the Aleph Zero Ecosystem Funding Program.
