The attacker used Nelly’s profile to carry out social engineering attacks and direct people to a crypto-phishing site. ZachXBT highlighted two messages sent by the scammer, in which they claimed to be investigating compromised wallet confirmations on recipient addresses. This was an attempt to steal funds by tricking users into signing malicious transactions. Scam Sniffer confirmed the report by ZachXBT. However, the X account @NellioETH no longer exists, presumably due to scam attempts.
