Richard is a highly qualified leader and will ensure Binance delivers on its next phase of security, transparency, compliance, and growth.
Prior to joining Binance, Richard was CEO of the Financial Services Regulatory Authority at Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM); Chief Regulatory Officer of the Singapore Exchange (SGX); and Director of Corporate Finance in the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
In practice, Teng was most recently global head of regional markets at Binance, as well as former CEO of Abu Dhabi Global Market, the UAE capital’s financial services regulator.
Not only that, between 1994 and 2015 (21 years) Teng served as director of corporate finance at the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and chief regulatory officer at the Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX). Hence, this is someone who has worked in the financial services and regulatory sector for more than 30 years.
