The recent regulatory filings by the SEC against Binance and Coinbase have had a significant impact on the market capitalization of ecosystem tokens, such as Solana’s SOL and Polygon’s MATIC. Data from Messari shows a considerable decrease in market share for these tokens following the SEC’s rulings. SOL and MATIC experienced a 25% drop in market capitalization, while BNB and Polygon saw declines of 23.3% and 27.7% respectively. However, MATIC has started to recover slightly in the past week.
