The TON team conducts successful public testing of blockchain speed
The TON team recently conducted a public test to determine the speed of their blockchain. In just 12 minutes, an impressive 42 million transactions were carried out, with a peak speed of 108,409 transactions per second (TPS).
During the experiment, the test network of 256 validators processed a staggering 43,012,970 transactions in just 11 minutes. This makes TON the fastest blockchain in existence, surpassing Bitcoin’s 5-7 TPS and Ethereum’s 15 TPS.
Previously, Solana held the record with a speed of 65,000 TPS. However, TON has now achieved a remarkable 104,715 transactions per second.
