Shibarium Reaches One Million Wallets Milestone as Layer-2 Solution Gains Momentum
The Shiba Inu cryptocurrency’s layer-2 blockchain, Shibarium, has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing one million wallets since its mainnet launch in August. This achievement is celebrated by Shibarium developer Kaal Dhairya in a recent blog post, where he expresses the project team’s dedication to establishing Shibarium as one of the leading layer-2 networks.
Dhairya emphasizes the network’s commitment to maintaining its status as one of the fastest and most cost-effective layer-2 networks. He even chuckles at the fact that some people are unhappy with the low gas prices on the network. Since the blog post, transactions on Shibarium have also exceeded one million.
To further promote the projects built on the new blockchain, the network plans to launch a promotional campaign. Dhairya urges users to utilize the Blockscout explorer for independent research and contract verification. Additionally, the project has introduced Shibariumscan, a new Blockscout explorer, to ensure seamless network operations and indexing.
