SK Telecom Partners with Aptos and Atomrigs Lab for Web3 Expansion
South Korean telecom giant SK Telecom has announced a partnership with Aptos and Atomrigs Lab to expand into the Web3 world. The collaboration aims to build a secure Web3 experience for SK Telecom users in South Korea.
SK Telecom’s Partnership with Aptos
This partnership marks SK Telecom’s first non-Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) collaboration. As part of the partnership, SK Telecom will be launching the T Wallet, a Web3 wallet, and non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace. The goal is to provide users with a secure Web3 experience and facilitate transactions involving NFTs and other digital assets.
SK Telecom’s Past Strategic Alliances in Web3 and Blockchain
SK Telecom has been actively venturing into the Web3 and blockchain space. In October, the company partnered with Crypto Quant to introduce the T Wallet. In August, SK Telecom formed a partnership with Polygon Labs for the development and expansion of its Web3 ecosystem.
Now, SK Telecom has teamed up with Aptos and Atomrigs Lab to further enhance its presence in the seamless and secure Web3 zone backed by blockchain technology in South Korea.
