Solana Labs has introduced the Saga “Chapter 2” smartphone as a follow-up to the original Solana Saga phone. The new version, set to launch in 2025, will be available for preorder at a more affordable price of $450, compared to the original’s $999 launch price. The initial production run of 20,000 Solana Saga phones sold out in December, driven by the interest in tokens awarded to owners.

Like its predecessor, the Chapter 2 phone is designed specifically for the Solana blockchain and ecosystem. It features a built-in crypto wallet optimized for Solana, allowing users to store, send, receive, and interact with SOL tokens and SPL tokens.
