Square Enix Announces Symbiogenesis NFT Auction Dates
Square Enix, the developer behind popular franchises like Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts, has revealed the auction dates for its upcoming Symbiogenesis nonfungible tokens (NFTs). The auction will take place in three batches, with the first batch starting on November 27th and ending on November 28th. The second batch will begin on November 30th and continue until December 4th, while the third and final batch will start on December 2nd and end on December 3rd. Square Enix previously announced that it would not hold a public mint for Symbiogenesis, instead rewarding fans participating in the game’s official Discord server with character NFTs.
Entry Campaign and NFT Availability
The entry campaign for Symbiogenesis started on November 7th and ended on November 21st. Participants had to complete quizzes and a treasure hunt in the game’s prototype version to earn NFT relics and score points for phase 2 participation. The top 50 scores and 40 random participants ranked from 51 to 300 will have the opportunity to acquire NFTs in phase 2, while the remaining participants can bid on items in phase 3. Square Enix plans to release a total of 500 character NFTs for Chapter 1 of Symbiogenesis.
