It’s Pumpkin Spice Latte season, and Starbucks is commemorating the 20th anniversary of its beloved beverage in a unique way: through NFT collectibles. On Thursday, Starbucks will introduce a series of digital stamps representing the qualities of their Pumpkin Spice Lattes on their Web3 rewards and loyalty platform called Starbucks Odyssey.
The NFTs, named Spiced, Whipped, Iced, and Steamed, will be sold in an open edition format from October 5 to October 9. Each NFT is priced at $20 and grants Odyssey members 250 points. Buyers who acquire all four NFT stamps will also receive an undisclosed “opportunity.”
Exclusive to Odyssey members, the purchased NFT artwork will be revealed on October 10. Starbucks minted these NFTs on Polygon, an Ethereum scaling network. The company introduced Starbucks Odyssey in 2022 and launched it in closed beta last December.

Starbucks developed the Odyssey platform to provide loyal customers with additional perks and benefits beyond the regular Rewards program. By earning points in Odyssey, users can unlock virtual drink-making classes or even win a trip to a Starbucks coffee farm in Costa Rica. The platform operates with the support of Nifty Gateway, an NFT marketplace.
In December, Starbucks initially gave away free NFT stamps that later resold for up to $1,900 each on the secondary market. In March, the company began selling premium NFT stamps starting at $100 each, which quickly sold out.
