The Worldcoin Foundation Plans to Pay Orb Operators in WLD Tokens Instead of USDC Stablecoin
The Worldcoin Foundation team has announced its decision to pay Orb operators in WLD tokens, the native tokens of the crypto project, rather than the USDC stablecoin. This transition will impact most jurisdictions and is part of a “transition phase” following the project’s official launch on July 24.
“In November 2023, the Worldcoin Foundation expects that the transition process will be completed such that all Operators will receive WLD going forward.”
