Hive’s latest move involves a property transfer agreement solidifying its presence in Boden, Sweden. This strategic investment complements Hive’s existing data center and stems from the European Union’s Horizon 2020 project. Johanna Thornblad, Hive Sweden Country President, expressed enthusiasm about the acquisition, citing its strategic location and potential contribution to the company’s growth strategy. The new data center aligns with Hive’s commitment to environmental responsibility and energy efficiency.
The acquisition will be completed through a combination of cash and common shares. Hive plans to pay up to $750,000 in cash and up to $1,500,000 in common shares, reflecting its dedication to building long-term value for investors.
