Terra Luna Classic Implements Pay Per Job Proposal
The Terra Luna Classic community has successfully passed Proposal 11889, which introduces a pay-per-job approach and a governance-ruled job list. The proposal received an overwhelming 91.99% “Yes” votes, with the aim of optimizing compensation structure and boosting community engagement.
A total of 49 out of 56 validators voted in favor of the proposal, including top validators like Allnodes, Orion, Interstellar Lounge, Stakely, and StakeBin. This new approach will allow for more efficient handling of tasks on Terra Classic by allowing job listings to be proposed through governance text proposals.
Efficient Handling of Tasks with Pay Per Job Approach
The pay-per-job model is considered more efficient compared to the previous monthly compensation model. This new approach provides developers with flexibility and transparency as they can propose new job listings with details such as job title, description, budget, and estimated duration.
“A monthly compensation model grants developers a consistent sense of financial security. However, it relies on a broad roadmap that might be subject to change as the quarter progresses. Given specific impending tasks, a more efficient model might be warranted.”
While this proposal brings potential positive changes to Terra Classic, there are still initial hurdles to overcome. It’s important to note that ongoing maintenance tasks will not be covered by this new system and will still require attention from L1TF or voluntary contributors.
LUNC and USTC Experience Price Decline
In the last 24 hours, the price of LUNC has dropped over 6%, falling from a high of $0.000275. The trading volume has also decreased by 30%, indicating a decline in interest among traders.
