Attorney Dr. Jonathan Levy has filed a request for Bulgaria’s acting top prosecutor to reopen the investigation into the Onecoin Ponzi scheme. Levy believes recent events, including the murder of a Bulgarian organized crime figure linked to the former chief public prosecutor and the fugitive founder of Onecoin, are connected to the case. Levy insists that Onecoin must be shut down, responsible individuals arrested, and their assets seized. He presents a sworn declaration by Onecoin’s former Compliance Officer detailing the scam’s contacts in Africa. Levy also suggests that the death of Onecoin’s founder, Ruja Ignatova, may have been faked by a criminal organization. Onecoin, launched in 2014, is believed to have defrauded over 3 million investors of more than $4 billion. Ignatova is still wanted by international law enforcement agencies.
