How Shiba Inu Investor Became a Billionaire
An anonymous crypto investor known as “Shibtoshi” recently shared his journey to becoming a billionaire with Shiba Inu (SHIB) in an interview with Youtuber Bad Anthony. According to Shibtoshi, he first became interested in SHIB in August 2020 after friends recommended it as a potential rival to Dogecoin (DOGE). He invested $8,000 in the token when it first started trading.
Although the initial value of his investment took a hit, Shibtoshi remained faithful and patient. During this time, a related Shiba Inu Telegram group was compromised, which caused some of his friends to sell their investments. However, Shibtoshi held onto his investment.
After almost a year, his investment grew rapidly and reached $5.7 billion in October 2021, representing an astounding increase of 71,249,900%. This made it one of the greatest trades of all time.
What Has Shibtoshi Done Since Then?
Once he hit the $5 billion mark, Shibtoshi moved out the majority of his Shiba Inu tokens. Initially, he transferred $2.9 billion from the original wallet to another wallet and then distributed the coins to various wallets.
The original wallet now holds around $1.44 million in SHIB, while the remaining coins were scattered in batches of 500 billion tokens to other wallets.
