TON Foundation’s Goal: Achieving Guinness World Record for the Quickest Blockchain on Earth

The TON Foundation Aims for World Record as Fastest Blockchain

The Open Network Foundation (TON Foundation) has announced its participation in a competition to become the world’s fastest blockchain. The performance test will take place on October 31, 2023, and will assess the reliability, scalability, and speed of the TON blockchain network. The TON blockchain has experienced significant growth, with its user base increasing from 170,000 to 3.5 million addresses. The network has also become more decentralized with 350 validator nodes across 25 countries. Despite this growth, the TON blockchain has maintained a strong track record of reliability and scalability.

TON Foundation Partners with Alibaba Cloud for Performance Test

For the performance test, the TON Foundation has partnered with Alibaba Cloud to launch a dedicated TON blockchain network involving 256 validator node servers. The event will be live-streamed on live.ton.org for educational purposes. Anatoly Makosov, Core Development Lead at TON Foundation, expressed excitement about confirming the TON blockchain’s technical superiority and scaling abilities during the test.

TON Foundation’s Collaborations with Telegram and MEXC

The TON Foundation recently integrated Telegram to introduce a self-custodial crypto wallet called “TON Space” for its vast user base of over 800 million monthly active users. Telegram Ads will prioritize TON projects and partners on its global advertising platform. Additionally, MEXC Ventures made a significant investment in The Open Network, establishing a strategic partnership. MEXC will provide marketing services and promotional support for TON-based projects and plans to introduce a TON collateral lending service while waiving trading fees related to the TON token.
