Crypto Analyst Expects DeFi and Altcoins to Outperform Bitcoin
A crypto analyst, Michaël van de Poppe, predicts that Bitcoin (BTC) is reaching its peak, while Ethereum (ETH) and other altcoins are set to take off. Van de Poppe believes that decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols and decentralized physical infrastructure (DePIN) technology projects will outperform Bitcoin in the near future.
DePIN projects involve using blockchain technology and crypto assets to incentivize the development of real-world infrastructure. Van de Poppe suggests that there is a rotation happening in the market, with DeFi/DePin gaining momentum and other ecosystems performing well.
At present, ETH/BTC is trading at 0.05700 BTC ($2,953), showing a 3% increase in the past 24 hours. Van de Poppe also predicts that Bitcoin may rise to $58,000 before experiencing a market correction.
Furthermore, he believes that Bitcoin will follow a historical price pattern and surpass its current value within two years. Bitcoin is currently trading at $51,835, with a nearly 4% increase in the past week.
