Trezor’s Safe 3 Hardware Wallet Range Sells Out in Record Time
Trezor’s newly launched Safe 3 hardware wallet range has experienced unprecedented sales, with the Bitcoin-only limited edition model selling out within 24 hours. The launch took place at Bitcoin Amsterdam on October 12, led by Trezor CEO, Matěj Žák.
Celebrating a Milestone
The limited-edition model was released as part of the Trezor Safe 3 range to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of Trezor’s introduction of the world’s first bitcoin hardware wallet. Only 2,013 devices were initially produced, symbolizing Trezor’s launch year.
Supporting Education Initiatives
All of the limited-edition devices are orange-colored and run Bitcoin-only firmware. Each sale of these devices has contributed €21 to support the Trezor Academy, resulting in over €40,000 raised for Trezor’s Bitcoin education initiative.
Matěj Žák, CEO of Trezor, expressed his excitement about the success of the Safe 3 range:
“Trezor is known as the original bitcoin hardware wallet, and our loyal users have snapped up all of the limited-edition Bitcoin-only Safe 3 wallets in just 24 hours. But what really excites me is the broader interest that we’ve seen for the Safe 3 range from those starting their crypto journey. We put huge effort into designing the range to appeal to crypto novices, making it easy to use, extremely secure, and highly affordable. I’m delighted to say that the Safe 3 range is already proving to be a hit.”
