Donald Trump Launches a New NFT Collection
Donald Trump, the former President of the United States and a crypto investor, has recently launched a new non-fungible token (NFT) collection. Despite the previous crash of his initial NFT collection, Trump has released a unique NFT collection called the Trump Digital Trading Cards: MugShot Edition on the Ethereum scaling network, Polygon.
Details of the NFT Collection
The new NFT collection features a limited set of 100,000 digital trading cards, each priced at $99. The collection portrays Trump’s mugshot taken in Atlanta after he was indicted on charges by the State of Georgia. Collectors who purchase 47 NFT cards in a single transaction will receive a physical card, which may or may not be signed by Trump. Additionally, those who buy 100 NFT cards at once will get two physical cards and VIP tickets to a gala dinner at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida.
Reception and Sales
The Trump NFT collection initially faced criticism on Twitter, but it quickly gained traction. One rare version of the NFT, featuring Trump holding a torch in front of the Statue of Liberty, was listed with a floor value of almost $24,000. However, the new NFT collection has not received the same level of reception as his initial collection. In the past 24 hours, it has raised $139,356.
