Ubisoft, known for games like Assassin’s Creed and Rainbow Six Siege, is venturing further into blockchain gaming with Immutable to develop a “Web3 gaming experience.” Immutable is behind the Immutable X layer-2 blockchain, utilized by games such as Gods Unchained and Guild of Guardians for NFT integrations.
Nicolas Pouard, Ubisoft’s VP of Strategic Innovation Lab and blockchain initiatives leader, expressed excitement about partnering with Immutable. He believes that Immutable offers seamless integrations for game developers to add crypto elements to their projects, enhancing the overall gaming experience.
