Ubisoft Announces Ethereum NFT Mint Date for Champions Tactics: Grimoria Chronicles
Ubisoft has revealed that the mint date for its blockchain game, Champions Tactics: Grimoria Chronicles, is set for December 18. The game will offer a private mint for individuals on its “darklist” starting at 6am ET, and will open the mint to the public at 2pm ET on Monday.
Unlike most NFT launches, Ubisoft has announced that 8,000 Champions Tactics Warlord NFTs will be available for free minting. These Warlords are pixel-style heroes with weapons and can be used as in-game avatars. Holding a Warlord NFT will grant access to the next mint for playable in-game characters.
The game itself will be deployed on the Ethereum-compatible Oasys chain, while a total of 9,999 Warlords NFTs will be minted. Ubisoft has also confirmed collaborations with NFT gaming projects Pixelmon and CyberKongz.
