Animoca Brands and Ubisoft Collaborate on NFT Game
Animoca Brands has revealed its partnership with Ubisoft to include the upcoming NFT game Champions Tactics: Grimoria Chronicles in its Web3 Frequent Player Program. Through the Mocaverse program, Moca ID owners can earn “Realm Points” by completing participation-based tasks. By leveraging the Frequent Player Program, Ubisoft aims to enhance user onboarding and raise awareness of the game, according to Animoca Brands co-founder Yat Siu.
Blockchain-based Moca IDs are a crucial part of Animoca Brands’ game and crypto projects. These identifiers are limited, and only Mocaverse NFT holders are guaranteed an ID. Otherwise, fans will need an invite code from an NFT owner to secure one.
This collaboration represents Ubisoft’s second major announcement with a crypto gaming company in a short space of time. The companies have been connected for some time, as Ubisoft invested in Animoca Brands in a round announced in October 2021. Recently, Animoca Brands raised $20 million specifically for its Mocaverse project.

Ubisoft’s collaboration with Animoca Brands underscores the gaming giant’s commitment to Web3 and NFT gaming.
