Uniswap Labs Releases New Crypto Wallet for Android Users
The team behind the leading decentralized exchange (DEX) by trading volume has introduced the Android version of its latest crypto wallet. Uniswap Labs, the developers of Uniswap (UNI), have announced the launch of a new crypto wallet for Android, following its release for Apple iOS software.
The new wallet is designed specifically for swapping and offers protection against MEV (maximum extractable value) attacks. It also supports eight different chains in six languages and 18 currencies. According to Uniswap, the 430,000 Android beta testers of the app will not need to re-download the wallet app, but simply update their existing app to continue swapping.
In a blog post, Uniswap Labs stated that beta testing helped enhance the final product’s speed and security. The company emphasized that the Uniswap app is optimized for discovering top tokens, automatically switching between Mainnet and L2s (layer-2s), and executing swaps in a fraction of a second.
