Getpass: A New Concept of Proof-of-Event
Getpass started as a micro DAO project based on the DAO Envelop protocol and oracle. In the first six months, Getpass developed a prototype of the telegram bot, followed by a web interface, which became a basic admin panel for event organizers.
Over time, Getpass built a full cycle of elements allowing the creation of events of any level, collaborated with various organizations, and created NFT tickets, SBT certificates, and distributed wNFT gifts to users.
Understanding Getpass
Getpass is a service that introduced the concept of Proof-of-Event without KYC requirements. It allows organizers to identify event participants through different on-chain conditions. The service is complemented by digital identification services like Proof of Humanity, BrightID, and Collab.Land.
It also introduces innovative tools for DAOs, offering a form of transactional reputation realization with the contract factory, updatable SBTs, and wNFT to reward long-term valuable members. The focus is on building lasting connections rather than temporary hype.
Getpass’s main challenge is not just creating events but combining multi-stakeholder community building and integrating DAO members with different forms of engagement.
MyShCh: A New Stage
Several NFT ticketing services shut down during Getpass’s existence. The service itself experienced a cloning attack and moved on to the MyShCh stage. MyShCh, abbreviated for My Soul History Come Honest, represents betting on Soulbound tokens and creating the future, not imitating the past.
Today, the event organizing service offers services such as ticket minting, SBT certificate creation, a launchpad for selling in different blockchains, whitelist supporting, and an admin dashboard with fine-tuned event settings for large events.
Future Developments and About Envelop
Some of the future developments for Getpass include redesign and UX/UI improvements, AI-NFT integrations, unusual wNFT gifts, new ticket patterns for events, and creating a DAO.
