Champions Ascension, an action role-playing blockchain game, is giving away free in-game items to Amazon Prime subscribers. Starting from Friday, subscribers can claim 100 in-game gold and a monster parts loot box through the Amazon Prime Gaming portal. These loot boxes contain parts that players can use to craft monsters for the upcoming Maestro Towers mode.
In-Game Items, Not NFTs
Although Champions Ascension is built around NFTs, the items offered in the Amazon Prime giveaway are not tokenized NFTs that can be traded. They are purely digital items within the game. Other Web3 games like Gods Unchained and NFL Rivals have also taken a similar approach with their Prime Gaming giveaways.
Maestro Towers is a new feature coming in early 2024 that is tower defense meets Mortal Kombat.
