Preliminary Information
If you’re a crypto enthusiast looking to participate in the Metis Season 2 airdrop, you’re in luck! This airdrop is suitable for users of all levels and requires no funds to participate. The tasks involved are relatively easy and could take up to an hour to complete. The potential rewards are medium to high, making it a worthwhile endeavor.
What Is Metis?
For those unfamiliar with Metis, it is a Layer 2 (L2) smart-contract blockchain built atop Ethereum. Recently, they have launched a testnet for their decentralized sequencer, and Season 1 and 2 of the Metis airdrop tasks aim to distribute rewards to participants who help test the decentralized sequencer.
How to Participate in Season 2 of the Metis Airdrop
Step 1) Getting Testnet Tokens
The first step involves getting testnet tokens by connecting your Metamask Sepolia Testnet wallet and claiming test $METIS tokens from the telegram bot provided by Metis. Keep in mind that it may take up to 2-3 days for the test tokens to be dispersed.
Step 2) Connecting to Enki
The next task is to connect to Enki by clicking on the Enki task in the Metis Season 2 homepage link or using the provided link. Once connected, launch the app by clicking on the respective button.
Step 3) Minting eMETIS
In this step, you will mint eMETIS tokens by accessing the “Mint&Stake” tab, entering an amount of $METIS to mint, and approving the subsequent Metamask transactions. Once completed, you should be able to view your eMETIS tokens on the same page.
Step 4) Getting seMETIS
After minting eMETIS, you can stake it to get seMETIS by accessing the “Stake” section and following the instructions provided. Staking $ENKI tokens follows a similar process, which involves accessing the “Faucet” tab and then staking the tokens in the “Mint&Stake” section.
Conclusion
Participating in Season 2 of the Metis airdrop is relatively straightforward and can potentially yield attractive rewards. Once you have completed all tasks, ensure that they are marked as “Completed” on the METIS airdrop homepage and check for any credited XP points. Then, await further announcements from the Metis team regarding the airdrop.
