IMVU Integrates Topper by Uphold to Streamline Digital Payments in the Metaverse
In an effort to enhance engagement in the metaverse and simplify digital payments, IMVU has incorporated Topper by Uphold, benefiting its community of over 3 million users.

Uphold, a global web3 financial platform, revealed that IMVU will integrate Uphold’s fiat-to-crypto on-ramp, Topper, to facilitate payments and empower the largest crypto economy in the metaverse. This integration aims to bridge the gap between web2 and web3 experiences.
Frictionless User Experience
With more than 700k daily active users across 100 countries, IMVU is focused on providing a seamless user experience for the mainstream adoption of digital assets in virtual social worlds. The broader partnership also involves transitioning IMVU from Web2 to Web3.

Since September 2020, over 1.5 million IMVU users have created crypto wallets using Uphold’s platform. With Topper’s integration, IMVU users can effortlessly utilize cryptocurrencies in the metaverse. IMVU has also integrated Uphold’s API with its token, VCOIN, which is listed on the Uphold exchange.
