Voyager Victims Unlock Funds on Gemini: A Surprising Turn of Events!

Gemini has announced a fund recovery program for Voyager customers affected by the company’s bankruptcy. Customers have until July 23, 2023, to open a Gemini account and withdraw their cryptocurrencies. Additionally, new verified Voyager customers from the United States who join Gemini will receive $5 worth of BTC as a promotional offer. Gemini is also expanding its presence in the APAC countries and has applied for a UAE license. They will serve as the full-reserve exchange and custodian for all client funds on the Voyager platform. However, the fund recovery will only be applicable to tokens supported by Gemini, and sending unsupported tokens may result in permanent loss. If users fail to withdraw their funds within the specified time, they will be liquidated and distributed as cash. Voyager Digital has faced financial difficulties and struggled to secure deals for customer withdrawals, with two prior unsuccessful attempts.
