Scam Warning in the Shiba Inu Community

In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Susbarium advised Shibizens to avoid interacting with unofficial accounts due to the presence of impersonators and scammers who create fake accounts to deceive community members. Furthermore, Susbarium highlighted that scammers redirect individuals to fake websites and even obtain private information from victims. This can be extremely dangerous as this information can be used maliciously. Additionally, scammers are known to drain victims’ wallets.
Susbarium assured community members that they are available to verify any uncertain accounts and encouraged them to report any clone or impersonating official accounts.

Other tips include staying updated on the latest security practices in the crypto space, trusting instincts, and being wary of “pump and dump” scams. These scams involve artificially inflating the price of a crypto token and then selling it at its peak to unsuspecting investors.
