MicroStrategy founder Michael Saylor has issued a warning about the increasing number of AI-generated deepfake scams targeting the Bitcoin community. These scams involve fake videos of Saylor promising to double people’s money instantly and prompting viewers to send Bitcoin to the scammer’s address.
In response, Saylor emphasized that there is no risk-free way to double your Bitcoin and that MicroStrategy does not give away BTC through barcode scanning. He revealed that his security team takes down about 80 fake AI-generated YouTube videos every day but the scammers continue to launch more.
