OnePiece Labs and Sei to Showcase Startups in Virtual Demo Day
Web3 incubator and VC firm OnePiece Labs and layer-1 blockchain Sei are set to host a Demo Day in November, where they will showcase startups from their incubator program. The event, scheduled for November 6 at 5:30pm PT, will feature 11 firms that were selected for the 10-week incubator program. This program aims to accelerate promising projects in the GameFi, SocialFi, and AI+Web3 sectors.
The startups chosen for the program were selected from over 200 applicants. They include Vdex, a decentralized derivatives exchange, Kawa Protocol, a DeFi platform, and EPAL, a GameFi project. Other participants in the program are Yaka Finance, Nitro, Corner Market, Analogia AI, Crown Finance, Network3, Indicator Lab, and Astromint. All of these startups have deployed on the Sei blockchain.
Mentorship and Previous Events
The incubator program provided mentors from organizations such as Sei, Galxe, Animoca Brands, Fenwick, OKX, Coinbase, and Decrypt Media. These mentors offered tailored guidance to address each startup’s specific business challenges.
This incubator program follows an AI+Web3 pitch competition held in June 2023 and a hybrid hackathon for GameFi, SocialFi, and AI+Web3 projects. The hackathon attracted 150 teams competing for a $200,000 prize pool.
What to Expect at the Demo Day
The Demo Day will begin at 5:30pm PT and will feature product demos from all 11 participants in the incubator program. Additionally, the founders of Sei and key team members at OnePiece Labs will share insights during the event.
