Whales Shift $350 Million in Crypto Assets: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, Litecoin, and XRP
Wealthy cryptocurrency investors have recently transferred around $350 million worth of digital assets, including Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH).
Whale Alert, an address tracker, reported several massive transactions involving Bitcoin and Ethereum. In all three cases, BTC was sent from unknown wallets to crypto exchanges, potentially for selling on the open market.
One transaction involved 2,756 BTC worth $132.9 million sent to Binance. Another saw 9,959 ETH worth $24.7 million transferred to the same exchange. Additionally, 25,658 ETH worth $64.2 million was moved to OKex.
Aside from Bitcoin and Ethereum, Whale Alert also detected significant transactions with altcoins such as Solana (SOL), Litecoin (LTC), and XRP.
The XRP transfers seem to be linked to Ripple, a crypto payments company. Meanwhile, a large amount of Solana was sent to Binance, and Litecoin was moved off an exchange.
At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at $49,777 with a 3% increase in the past day. Ethereum is valued at $2,559 with a 1.6% increase in the last 24 hours. Solana is trading at $109 per coin, Litecoin at $0.53 per coin, and XRP at $0.082 per coin.
