Crypto.com has announced the start of its first APAC Hackathon, supported by academic partners such as Singapore Management University and Melbourne Business School. The Hackathon aims to address pressing needs related to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development by inviting participants from the APAC zone to submit ideas that utilize Web3 and AI-powered solutions.

The main purpose of the Hackathon is to foster responsible innovation in the Web3 and AI spaces. With the support of academic experts from Singapore Management University and Melbourne Business School, Crypto.com aims to strengthen Singapore’s thought leadership and talent pipeline in these areas, elevating its standing as a global center for responsible innovation.

More About the APAC Hackathon

The Hackathon registration opens on September 18th for individual or team participants in APAC who are over 18 years old. Interested participants have until September 29th to submit concept submissions. Twelve participants will be chosen as finalists for the incubation program, where they will receive mentorship and engage in technical masterclasses on Web3 and AI issues. The Hackathon will conclude during Singapore FinTech Festival week, with finalists receiving cash prizes and complimentary tickets to the festival.
