Bitcoin Sets New All-Time High, Altcoins Surge

The positive trend continued on Monday as Bitcoin climbed by a few thousand dollars and reached nearly $73,000 to establish a new all-time high. Although it has retraced slightly since then, BTC is still trading comfortably above $71,000.
With a market cap exceeding $1.4 trillion, Bitcoin is now the 8th largest financial asset globally and holds close to 50% dominance over altcoins on CoinGecko.
XRP Surges Alongside Other Altcoins
While Ethereum (ETH), Binance Coin (BNB), and Solana (SOL) have been making significant gains in recent weeks, XRP has been lagging behind. However, this changed yesterday when XRP experienced a double-digit surge and reached a multi-month high of over $0.75. Although it has retraced slightly, XRP is still trading around $0.7 after a 12% daily increase.
In addition to XRP, other altcoins have also seen notable gains:
